Icon-Free Desktop

In one of my earlier posts, I made reference to getting rid of all my desktop icons and my sis expressed her disbelief. So, I just thought I'd show you all a picture of my current desktop (image courtesy of webshots desktop).

You'll notice I've got an extra little "desktop" thing on my toolbar at the bottom right, next to the usual volume control, language, clock, etc. Anything that was on my desktop is there now. Or, it's on one of the other toolbars or the start menu. I find it's very nice to be able to enjoy the gorgeous webshots photos I download without having icons sitting on top of them.
