Still Around
Just thought I'd pop in to let you know that I'm still around. Life has been busy lately and I've been doing a lot to get ready for our trip to Japan. Most days consist of work followed by a workout, dinner, and then a Japanese lesson. If I'm lucky, I get to do a bit of writing and reading before bed. If I'm even luckier, I get a good night's sleep before starting again.
Today was an awesomely productive day though! I tackled a bunch of household stuff and then even did a bunch of gardening. It was my specialty - weeding! If I can't make things live I can at least turn my plant-killing talents to the stuff I don't want out there. I also got annoyed that one of our neighbours who did not clean up after their dog. I hope I catch them in the act so I can let our strata know about it.
I'm seriously thinking about beginning to study genealogy. Probably wouldn't tackle my side first due to the language barriers but I might tackle my husband's side. It would be a very big project though so I'm doing a lot of thinking before jumping in. It might mean an even greater reduction of my current crafting and/or other hobbies.
Work is incredibly busy right now too. I'm trying to get ahead for Japan and we've got lots of tax returns and regular work to do too.
Kim and I have a chick flick night planned for this Saturday. I'm so-o-o-o looking forward to it. My M&Ms have been purchased along with Green Tea Gingerale. My husband, sweetie that he is, said he'd ride his bike (weather and time permitting) to work that day so that I can take the car instead of riding the bus late at night.

Wahoo for DVD chick-flick night! And wahoo for having the car so you don't have to ride the bus late at night :-)
