Football Game
Well, last night was not a good night for Vancouver. We went to the last regular season game of the BC Lions. They were vying for first place and only had to win this game. They started the season winning 11 straight. They needed 12 wins for the season to guarantee first place. Then they lost 6 in a row, including last night's game. They didn't score a single touchdown and lost the game by one point. There were some exciting moments though. And I do enjoy watching live sporting events.
And, while I don't know as many details about the other professional Vancouver sports team, I do know that the Canucks lost 1-0 against the Calgary Flames.
Last night I also drank the most beer I've ever had in my life. Now, before you get too excited, that is only about half a cup. Lance's sister Marnie and her friend went to the game too. To say thank you to the parents who got us all the tickets, they bought two extra beers. Lance's dad had one, but Lance's mom didn't want the other one. So Lance and I split it. I actually managed to drink half of it. I must be slowly getting more accustomed to drinking such stuff.
