I'm done, time for bed

This is how I feel right now despite the fact that it is only 10 am. Ever have days like this? Either things have gone so wrong that you just want to go to bed and wake up the next morning, or things go so well you finish everything early and figure you've done enough. Luckily, today for me is the latter case. I've pretty much finished everything on my immediate to-do list and I haven't even started work yet.

Now, I do have a few other things to do that are work related, but I enjoy the non-work related stuff so much more. Here's what I've done so far today . . .

-workout - I actually managed to drag my butt out of bed at 5 am to do my half hour run on the treadmill followed up by some core development exercises. I was thoroughly exhausted afterwards.

-get ready for work - This includes dressing and putting on my makeup. My hair isn't done yet and my lunch could probably use a bit of improvement too since I'll need more food to make it through the day.

-finish a project - I finished a crafty project that I started last night. It is also one of my Christmas presents this year. I'm trying to decide now if I have the energy before work to wrap it or not.

-clean up the kitchen - empty and reload the dishwasher and wash and put away a few things.

Frankly, I think I've been about as productive as any one person should be during the day. Can I go back to bed now?

Hmmm, I guess not. Well, I still have an hour and half before leaving for work, I guess I'll see about some wrapping, lunch stuff, and stir the peanut butter too.

I don't get it. You said yesterday that the dinner inspired you to write this, but I don't see the connection. Am I dumb?

No, no, no! I said the dinner reminded me about it since we were talking about peanut butter. Sheesh! Pay attention! ;p

Was this the dinner I attended? I have no memory of a peanut butter conversation! Was I conscious during that conversation?! I'm still not getting it . . .

I think I meant the dinner I was going to make on Thursday night, because it involved peanut butter. And, I think I was just talking about the one line about stirring the peanut butter, not the whole post.
