Wishcasting Wednesday – Organization

Edit: Forgot to put a link back to the prompting post from Jamie. My bad! If you want to play along, just pop over here.

What do I wish for my space?

The answer to that is quite simple. I wish for organization. A place for everything and for everything a place. I’m currently slogging away on my crafting space and it seems that everywhere I turn, I wish for more organization. I want more shelving. But not just any shelving . . . I want custom shelving. Something that will hold all the oddities in my life.

When we moved into our new townhouse two years ago, we had the standard wire rack shelving that comes with any new development. And, we’ve done nothing with it. We removed some of it and put in some plain wooden shelves for a miscellaneous closet in the office. But things are just kind of shoved in there.

And, we have a lot of oddly shaped things in our lives that don’t really suit traditional bookcase or closet solutions. If I had money to burn I’d go and outfit our home with boxes and shelves and cubbies so that everything would be put away. But, as I don’t have limitless funds instead I’ll wish for some inspiration in dealing with what I’ve got.

You know what they say, necessity is the mother of invention. That need to create with limited resources can lead to fantastic results. Best of luck!
